I own a pair of slippers, and all of the fur came out along the edge of the slipper. I was told this is “standard” and that due to the way rabbit fur rubs on the legs of denim. I mean? You make and sell slippers with zero warning that this was a DEFECT in the way you make your products. Who lines a product with a fur or fabric that cannot be maintained and will fall out with everyday use?
I was actually told that the product was damaged due to me wearing pants with them. That is ridiculous! Who makes a product that you cannot wear clothes with? Basic, average, every day clothes!
Ridiculous.
Now I know why they went on clearance for next to nothing after paying full price for them. Ridiculous.
Oh, and I am disabled so I really don’t walk much, so that shows you just how poorly fabricated they are. Truly.
I purchased a Pair of mitts expecting them to be as warm as the boots that I own. Very disappointed. They look beautiful but I was out today and it was -14 and I had a pair of cloth gloves underneath and my hands were cold. Disappointing. Very expensive not to have he quality of warmth that you would expect.

This product is stunning. Beautiful, comfortable. Got my package fast, customer service was great to help with a free return.
If I could I would give them zero stars. I bought a pair to use as slippers. After about three months they were showing signs of wear on the fur. I’ve had them 8 months, they are sloppy, no padding left on the sole, the fur is badly worn and they look as if I’ve worn them for many years.
I contacted the company and I was told to take them off when I sit and to roll my pants up when I wear them. Surely we buy slippers to wear, not to take off to stop them wearing.
To put it not so nicely, the poor quality is only superseded by their disgraceful customer service.

I am disappointed in Manitobah Mukluks return policy. They refused to accept a return of slippers that had been worn inside for half an hour. Buying footwear online is a dicey thing so it is important that a company stands by its returns policies. Their sizing is smaller than the usual fit as they claim the items will stretch. But even though I ordered one size up, bearing this in mind, the slippers squeezed my toes to the point if pain. I also measured the soles, and they were 0.25 cm shorter than the measurements they give online (not much, but it makes a big difference to your foot comfort.)

I love the idea behind this company and try to seek out first people-owned companies to support. However....
*ORDER ONE.
--Initial order. Since things came in half sizes and I usually size up, I ordered a set of moccs in size 10. Received, no issues with shipping. I wore them in the house for 5 minutes on carpet long enough to realize that they were just too lose.
--Return. I applied for a return. It took a week to get the postage information and I mailed it back immediately. THREE WEEKS LATER, I still had not received a confirmation they had arrived.
--Followup. I followed up THREE TIMES over SIX WEEKS to confirm they had been received, and I would be getting a receipt? Maybe? Money back or exchange, maybe? The first time, they were apologetic and offered me a 20% next order. The second time they said the return had been accepted and accounting was being slow, but they were going to give me the $$ back directly so I could reorder my new set (WHICH I STILL WANTED) rather than store credit.
--SECOND ORDER. Between my second followup and my third, I ordered a new set!
--THIRD FOLLOWUP. After 2 weeks after not receiving a email from accounting or receipt, I asked for status. GUESS WHAT??? They now considered my returns as "worn" and unaccepted and I wasn't getting $$ back--despite just buying a new set in a different size. According to the rep: literally putting it on your foot is enough to disqualify you from EVER getting a return. This is despite being told twice by other reps my return had been accepted.
--SECOND ORDER: STILL NOT HERE. So now, I am out $$ for TWO different sets of moccs and have neither. It's been two months since I first ordered a set and 3 weeks since I ordered the second set.
I wish I had never heard of this crappy place.
Terrible. Advertising up to 50% off sales where not a SINGLE item is listed at 50% off... and advertising sales on specific styles and boots that don't actually exist on your website anymore and you're out of stock on. It's illegal to advertise a sale for an item you don't actually have stock of! You need to be reported!
Oh! And as for your made in Vietnam crap? Gee did it never occur to you that you could support global partners and purchase a CANADIAN factory? We do have those here you know! And many Canadians who are without jobs, in the indigenous community in particular and instead of buying your manufacturing factory in canada and keeping it all in the indigenous community you went to VIETNAM with a track record of some of the WORST human rights violations! Damn... I thought you actually cared about your indigenous community and canada and keeping jobs and manufacturing in Canada... its 100% possible for global production of a product to take place in Canada.
I ordered the Snowy Owl Mukluks for my wife this past November. They were easy to track and delivery was fast and efficient. Sizing was exact according to the chart on the site. We were amazed at the quality and fine workmanship. She was so excited I went ahead and purchased the soft sole slippers for Christmas. One again, delivery was on point and the quality was excellent. We recommend to anyone interested in purchasing from this company to proceed. You won't be disappointed.
Ordered this as a gift for my mother, it's been a rough year without any visits. Excitedly waited two weeks, then got an email that my order was cancelled without explanation. I called in to figure out why, and they told me that the shoes I purchased, which I waited two weeks for already, were out of stock. I was surprised because I saw that they were still in stock just a few days ago, and the person said "they doubt it" curtly and told me to go check again.
It seems like they have some serious issues with their online ordering system if the shoe appears as "in stock" for multiple days after I purchased them. Maybe don't sell shoes that are out of stock? Maybe keep better track of your inventory? I also would not be surprised at all if they cancelled my order on purpose because it was made during a sale.
I had been such a big fan and wanted to support their mission. This was such a disappointing experience. How absolutely unprofessional. Never again.
I should of known better to buy a second pair. First I bought a pair of mukluks. Because I live on Alberta and have mobility problems and fixes income. I thought if I spent $280 that they would be warm and last. I was so wrong. The ties ripped all around the boot in first month and the are not warm. Says-30 c my feet were cold at -10c . So I sent emails and pictures and they never returned messages. Then I bought some half mukluks thinking that they would last since no strap on top. But the stitching blew out and half the shoe fell apart. I tried to return to store were I bought them and they refused. It's a good thing I registered the serial number when I bought them. So when I call the customer service they said I had to pay for return ($40) . It took months for them to get back to me to confirm they were defective. Then another couple months to get the new ones. So I received the new one last the 1 month now. I noticed first thing there were deep scratches on right side of shoe again. 3 straight deep Mark's. I was hoping that it was just my eyes but when you run your finger nail beside it you can notice it's not going to last. Then the laces broke in 1 week. So I call customer service again and tell them what happened. That I shouldn't have to pay for them to be returned again. I was told to send email. I did get a response saying will take time. I decided to call and ask for supervisor and try and get laces so I can wear them the last couple months of winter. I also told her about deep scratches. When I mentioned that I was going to wear fo remaining winter months and would send them after. I was told that I probably wouldn't get a replacement since I decided to wear them and may cause more damage. I'm disabled and drive a scooter instead of walking . How much wear or damage can I really do to them. So I Do Not Recommend Any of Their Products. BOUGHT 3 AND ALL 3 ARE CRAP. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
I bought a second pair for my wife. the next day went on sale and so I call to ask about this. there responds was we can't doing anything about it. then I said I'd return it and there responds was there would't be that size in stock. lol never ever will I buy from this company again.
My husband purchased a pair of moccasins for me for my birthday. I only wore them inside. Within 6 months the stitching was coming out, there were holes in the suede and the lining was coming off. The other issue that I have is that the company presents itself as Canadian. While it is Canadian owned, the moccasins I received were made in Vietnam. I had thought that I was supporting Canadian artists and getting a quality Canadian product, which was not the case. I contacted the company (I will admit a bit late) and explained the situation - their only comment was that I had exceeded the warranty period. I am extremely disappointed in the company and the product they provided. At this point I will not deal with them in the future. I prefer to support Canadian artists.
